OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City Police have arrested a teen in connection to a deadly shooting that occurred over Memorial Day weekend.
According to police, 15-year-old Dominique Long was interviewed and subsequently booked into the Oklahoma County jail in connection to the murder of 19-year-old Joshua Malone. He now faces a first-degree murder count as well as seven counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
Police said officers found Malone dead on May 28 at a residence after they were called out to the home for shots being fired. Witnesses told police two black males had knocked on the front door. When the door was opened, the two suspects asked for a person that did not reside at the house. The witnesses said no one by that name lived there and before the suspects left the porch area, shots were fired into the house.
There is still one suspect outstanding in this case. Anyone with information is asked to call the Homicide Tip Line at 405-297-1200. Callers can remain anonymous, and may be eligible for a cash reward.
