Victim from Overnight Shooting Identified

OKLAHOMA CITY – The victim in an overnight shooting Wednesday has been identified. James Darrell Stanley, 46, remains in critical condition at an area hospital.

Shortly after midnight on May 26, officers arrived to the 300 block of S.E. Grand and Stanley with a gunshot wound.

According to witnesses, an altercation occurred before the shooting took place and Jeffrey Robert Magill's name was given as a suspect.

Officers then found, arrested and transported Magill to police headquarters, where he was interviewed and was subsequently booked into the Oklahoma County jail on one count of shooting with intent to kill.
