DIBBLE, Oklahoma -- A 72-year-old man who was a teacher at a church-run school in Dibble is facing multiple charges of lewd molestation.

The District Attorney of McClain County has charged Dale Alan Elledge with six felony counts involving children whose ages ranged from 8- to 12-years-old at the time of the offenses.

Authorities said Elledge worked as a teacher's assistant at a K-12 school known as the Word of Life Academy in Dibble.

The alleged crimes occurred on school grounds between 1998 and 2005. The children told investigators Elledge threatened to kill their mothers if they ever revealed what had happened.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Elledge, but his current whereabouts are unknown. Authorities said Elledge has moved out of his home in Blanchard.
