NOBLE, Oklahoma -- They may only be 8 and 9-years-old, but Christian and Jordan Moore are already old enough to know that storm victims need help.
They've organized an effort to collect household goods for people in Cleveland County who were displaced by Monday's storms. With the help of their parents, Christian and Jordan set up two U-Haul trucks outside Noble Hardware for collections.
"I felt sorry for the people whose houses got destroyed, and I just wanted to help them," Jordan said.
Despite the rain, several local residents and businesses responded to the appeal.
"I think that's super. It goes to families who don't have anything right now," said Christel Cleveland, who dropped off donations at the Moore's collection site.
Saturday the Moore children will help distribute the goods they've collected to storm victims. Their father, James Moore, said he's very proud of his children.
"I'm very proud and I'm very blessed to have kids like this," said James Moore, Jordan and Christian's father.
