Norman Police Investigate Armed Robbery

NORMAN, Oklahoma -- The Norman Police Department is investigating an armed robbery reported on Thursday May 13, 2010 at approximately 4:15 a.m.

Norman police responded to an armed robbery reported at the Waffle House at 125 Interstate Dr. East. According to witnesses, a man entered the restaurant with a gun, took an undisclosed amount of money from the store and left.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect was described as a white male, about six feet tall and weighing about 190 to 210 pounds. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, blue jeans and black and white Nike shoes. At the time of the robbery he wore gloves. The suspect's face was partially covered during the robbery by either a mask or his sweatshirt.
