OKLAHOMA CITY -- The chance for showers and thunderstorms continues throughout the night and into Thursday morning. Heading into Thursday morning, severe weather is not expected.
A cold front will continue to move through the state overnight, making Thursday considerably cooler.
Lows overnight will dip down into the lower 50s in Oklahoma City, with highs only reaching into the mid 60s Thursday. The chance for storms will continue through the weekend. However, severe weather is not anticipated.
Storm trackers reported a brief tornado touchdown just south of Clinton Wednesday night. Those storms capable of producing tornadoes moved through the western and northwestern part of the state Wednesday night and brought heavy rain, damaging winds and large hail to that area.
No serious damage has yet been reported from those storms.
