Emergency Management: Death Count from Tornado Outbreak Reduced to 2

Emergency Management officials said the number of confirmed deaths related to Monday's storm has been reduced to two.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Emergency Management officials said the number of confirmed deaths related to Monday's storm has been reduced to two.

A 41-year-old male was killed near Southeast 59th Street and Peebly Road in Oklahoma City, and a 27-year-old female was killed off Rock Creek Road near Norman.

Emergency Management originally reported Monday that five people had been killed, but they reduced the death toll to two Tuesday evening.

The 27-year-old's three children were originally reported as deceased. However, State Health Department officials said the children are in critical condition at a metro hospital.

The death toll was reported as high as seven people on Tuesday, but NEWS 9 only reported the death toll as high as five.

Emergency management officials released the following injury report:

The Oklahoma State Department of Health reports 104 were treated for storm related injuries at hospitals.

Norman Regional Hospital treated 70 storm related patients Monday night

Midwest City Regional treated 14 patients with minor injuries and 2 in critical condition

Integris Southwest Medical Center treated 7 patients with minor injuries

Oklahoma Heart South treated 1 patient

OU Presbyterian saw 5 patients including 2 in critical condition

OU Children's Emergency Room treated 3 storm related patients
