OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City Police are seeking help from anyone who may have seen a sport utility vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run around 1 a.m. Sunday.

According to police the driver of a white SUV with large, aftermarket wheels hit and killed 26-year-old L. Ray Barber Calvin Jr. at the intersection of NW 16th and MacArthur Boulevard. He died at the scene.

Investigators believe the vehicle was a 2000-2006 GMC Yukon, white in color. The vehicle will be missing the passenger-side headlight and the chrome turn signal trim from both front signal lights. The vehicle should have significant front end damage. The vehicle was driven by a Hispanic female. Investigators also want to speak to the occupants of a small green sedan that was following the Yukon. The green sedan has a partial tag number of 313-N.

Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.

A fund has been set up for funeral expenses in L. Ray's name at any Bank of Oklahoma.
