NORMAN, Oklahoma -- Norman's Old Hat Creative are willing to do just about anything to help raise money. Employees with the company are doing a range of humiliating acts in a fundraising effort dubbed HuMAYliation, a way to raise money for the Mary Abbott Children's House.

The non-profit organization helps children who are victims of child abuse. The owner of Old Hat Creative, Zac Logsdon, says the moment he read one of their brochures he knew he wanted to help.

"I couldn't get through it because it was so heart-wrenching and I made the decision then that anything I can do to prevent this from happening then I would do whatever I could," said Logsdon.

One of the 13 Old Hat Creative employees plans to jump rope while wearing Batman underwear. Another employee promises to find the dirtiest public restroom in town and clean it. Logsdon says he will run down Main Street in Norman wearing a Speedo, swim cap and swim goggles and scream, "Where's the pool?!" Mike Mitra, a production artist who has already had pies thrown in his face, says the staff's decision to want to help was easy.

"Everyone was on board, they thought they saw a good cause and everyone was basically willing to do anything," Mitra said.

Now while the idea may seem strange Logsdon says the decision to do it was easy.

"They always say to use your talents to help out and we are most talented in making fools of ourselves," said Logsdon. "I've always been really good at it."

The employees' efforts aren't going unnoticed, Autumn McMahon with the Abbott House said.

"To have them come forward and say, 'We believe in what you do and we want to help and help do it better,' is not only an enormous compliment but saves us time and energy."

In addition to helping the Abbott House, any money Old Hat Creative receives from outside Oklahoma will go to help out the National Children's Alliance.

If you would like to find out how you can help you can go to the Humayliation Web site to learn more. A donation of $30 or more gets you a free T-shirt.
