STRATFORD, Oklahoma -- Stratford sixth graders are learning you can do a lot with just $5.

As part of a unit on the book "The Ultimate Gift," students were given $5 to invest into something they could turn a profit.

Some made baked goods and sold them, others purchased cleaning products to clean homes.

In the end, the students turned their $5 into more than $1,000. They are donating the money to Samaritan's Purse, a charity that helps Haiti earthquake victims.
