OKLAHOMA CITY -- Westbound Interstate 40 has reopened after two wrecks near the Interstate 240 interchange.

The highway was closed for about an hour this morning. One person was killed in a wreck on the ramp from westbound I-40 to westbound I-240, troopers said. Troopers said Donald Eugene Smith, 44, died at the scene from a head injury after his car left the roadway and hit a tree.

At least one person was injured in a second wreck on I-40 when an SUV rolled over on a motorcycle near Choctaw Road, troopers said.
