OKLAHOMA CITY -- Gov. Brad Henry has vetoed anti-abortion legislation he says has flaws, including no exemption for rape and incest victims.

Henry vetoed two anti-abortion bills on Friday. One would have forced women to undergo an ultrasound and listen to a detailed description of the fetus before they could get an abortion.

Henry vetoed similar legislation in 2008, but lawmakers overrode the veto. Opponents successfully challenged it in court and say they are prepared to challenge it again if it becomes law.

In his veto message, Henry says he supports reasonable restrictions on abortion but that the bill has no exemption for rape and incest victims.

Henry also vetoed a bill to prohibit pregnant women from seeking damages if physicians withhold important information or provide inaccurate information about their pregnancy.
