OKLAHOMA CITY - The National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum will host a ceremony on the first day that the U.S. Postal Service issues stamps commemorating four famous movie cowboys.

The event for the Cowboys of the Silver Screen stamp set will be Saturday and will include relatives of Roy Rogers and Tom Mix, 2 of the cowboys depicted on the stamps.

Other stamps in the set depict William S. Hart and Gene Autry. All four cowboys are members of the Hall of Great Western Performers at the cowboy museum. The stamp dedication ceremony will coincide with the museum's annual Western Heritage Awards weekend.

Anything bearing the new stamps that is presented at the museum Saturday can be hand-canceled with the official first-day-of-issue postmark.
