OKLAHOMA CITY -- A man has been arrested in connection to a stabbing that took place on the city's northeast side on April 9.

Oklahoma City Police officers were called to the Soonerhaven apartments in the 1400 block of N.E. 36th Street in reference to a stabbing. Officers arrived and located a male subject lying in the parking lot bleeding.

Through investigation, detectives learned that there had been a domestic altercation that led to the victim being stabbed. Initially, the victim was not expected to survive. However, he made progress and is currently listed in stable condition. Investigators were finally able to speak with the victim yesterday and a warrant was issued for the victim's son.

Shortly after, the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Warrant Team located 36-year-old Anthony Terrill Steele at his residence in the 2000 block of Peachtree. Steele was taken into custody, and charged with assault with a deadly weapon and domestic abuse.
