Man Arrested, Accused of Beating, Abusing Dogs

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police arrested a man who's accused of beating a dog and neglecting other dogs.

A woman told police she saw the man kick the dog and then hit its head on a door frame at a home near N.W. 28th Street and Interstate 44.

When police arrived, they found the injured dog along with several other malnourished ones.

"The conditions they found inside of the house were deplorable. They had dog feces inside of the house, beer cans...trash everywhere," said Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow.

Mark Skinner, 50, is facing several counts of animal cruelty.
