Bar Manager Arrested, Cut Man's Nose, Shoulder with Sword

OKLAHOMA CITY – A bar manager was arrested and charged with assault after a disturbance inside El Ausente.

The incident happened outside the bar, located at N.W. 10th Street and Rockwell Avenue.

Police said the bar manager, Adan Zapata, grabbed a 34-inch sword and ran after the men who caused the disturbance. Outside the bar, Zapata hit one of the men leaving a deep gash in his shoulder and slicing off part of his nose.

Police arrested 32-year-old Adan Zapata and booked him into jail for assault with a dangerous weapon.

Paramedics rushed the victim to the hospital but were unable to find the rest of his nose.
