Police Release Sketch of Larceny, Kidnapping Suspect

Oklahoma City Police are seeking the public's help locating a subject in reference to theft of coins and attempted kidnapping.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City Police are seeking the public's help locating a subject in reference to theft of coins and attempted kidnapping.

The first incident occurred at Brown's Coin and Stamp Shop in the 500 block of S.W. 29th Street on February 8, 2010. In this case, the suspect took a sheet containing gold coins valued at $20,000. 

The second incident occurred at the Old Paris Flea Market on February 26, 2010. The suspect met with the victim to sell him some gold coins. The victim got into the suspect's car and when the suspect attempted to leave the victim jumped from the moving vehicle. The victim sustained minor cuts and scratches. 

The suspect's vehicle is described as a dark either orange or red sports car. 

A sketch was developed from speaking to one of the victims. Police believe that the same suspect is involved in both incidents.
