Norman Police Seek Hotel Robbery Suspect

Norman police are seeking the public's help to identify and locate a person that robbed the front desk of a local hotel.

NORMAN, Oklahoma -- Norman police are seeking the public's help to identify and locate a person that robbed the front desk of a local hotel.

Police said the suspect robbed the Hampton Inn, 309 Norman Center Count, at about 9 a.m. Thursday morning.

The suspect is described as a white male in his early to mid-20s, 5'-10" tall and weighs about 165 pounds. The suspect was last seen wearing a white sleeveless T-shirt, blue jeans and glasses. He was last seen fleeing from the east door of the business, with an undetermined amount of cash.

No injuries were reported and the suspect did not display a weapon.

This is the second recent incident at this business, with the first one occurring March 21, 2010.

Detectives have not confirmed a link between the two incidents, but investigators believe the two may be related.

Investigators ask that anyone with information pertaining to either incident call the Norman Police Department at 321-1600 or Norman Crime Stoppers at 366-7867.
