ENID, Oklahoma -- The Enid Police Department is seeking assistance public assistance in identifying a man involved in a robbery of a local drug store.
Police said they received a call at 3:26 a.m. Wednesday that the Walgreens store at 615 S. Van Buren was robbed. According to police, a white male armed with a gun entered the store, jumped over the pharmacy counter and demanded various drugs from the pharmacist. He left with a large amount of drugs either on foot or on a bicycle.
The man is described as being between 6'3" – 6'5" tall, weighing about 170 – 190 pounds, with short to medium length brown hair and some brown facial hair along the chin line. He was seen wearing dark colored wire frame sunglasses, a brown leather jacket, a brown button-up collared shirt, a black T-shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
The suspect may be an active drug user and may suffer from a prior injury or illness.
