WHAT: Senior Awareness Day-South event

WHEN: March 26, 2010 from 9 a.m. - noon

WHERE: Oklahoma City Community College, 7777 S. May, Oklahoma City inside the College Union Building (view a map)

WHY: The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office TRIAD program (Sheriff, Police, and seniors), has grown tremendously over the past few years. The primary mission of TRIAD is to educate our precious seniors on the importance of safety, and also give these valuable citizens a platform to share their vast knowledge within their communities.

Senior Awareness Day South is a free admission event where seniors will have an opportunity to learn about essential services designed specifically for them. Seniors will be offered free health screenings, information to protect themselves from becoming victims of fraud, and a lot of other information.
