OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City Police Homicide investigators have released a photo in a case from 2009.

Officers received a call of a found human skull at the Stinchcomb Wildlife Refuge, just north of Lake Overholser, approximately one year ago. The skull had washed up in a riverbed, and was found by children playing in the area.

Investigators believe that the skull belongs to a white female, who was 20-45 years of age at the time of her death. The skull was possibly in this area for 1-20 years before discovery.

Police are asking the public to help identify a rendering of the female's face.

If anyone recognizes this female, or has any information on this case, they should call the Homicide Tip Line at 405-297-1200.
