EDMOND, Oklahoma -- An Edmond couple was carjacked after trying to sell their 1999 White Lincoln Navigator on Craigslist.
A pregnant woman and her fiancé met two suspects at the Edmond Wal-Mart on Danforth Road and Sante Fe Avenue around 10 p.m. Tuesday night.
Police said the suspects went on a test drive with the couple up the street to the Ace Hardware on Kelly Avenue. The men said they wanted to check the engine, and when the couple got out, the suspects took off in their SUV.
"They went off in such a rush that they actually struck the lady and knocked her to the ground, and she's seven months pregnant," said Glynda Chu, Edmond Police Department spokesperson.
The woman suffered minor injuries, and doctors are monitoring her condition.
Police only have a vague description of the suspects as two males in their 20s, but said they hope security cameras will help give a better description.
Anyone with information about the incident should call Crime Stoppers at 405-359-4466. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
