OKLAHOMA CITY -- The weather on Thursday will be good. The weather on Friday morning will be good but windy. There's a 20 percent chance of few thunderstorms west moving toward metro late Friday afternoon or evening with a very slight chance of severe storms.
Friday evening will most likely be a stormy one across northwest Oklahoma with snow and high winds developing out there. Friday night and Saturday morning the very cold Polar air with strong winds will quickly move toward the east. The metro will have rain then rain changing to snow about 7 a.m. Saturday morning, then ending quickly Saturday afternoon. At the moment, the only area that may see snow on the grass will be northern Oklahoma, but that may change.
And last but certainly not least, it will be extremely cold Saturday and Sunday with strong northerly winds and low wind chills. Temperatures will fall into the 20s over western, northern and central Oklahoma by early Sunday morning.
