OKLAHOMA COUNTY -- An 18-year-old man was arrested after leading Oklahoma County deputies on a pursuit early Sunday morning.

William Douglas Blaik was booked on complaints of driving under the influence and endangering others while eluding police.

At about 4:30 a.m. the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office received a call to do a welfare check on someone who appeared to be unconscious behind the wheel of his vehicle at the intersection of NW 178th Street and W. County Line Road, according to a news release.

A deputy responded to the scene, and the person behind the wheel of the reported vehicle drove off. The deputy followed, and a pursuit ensued.

In the area of N.W. 206th Street and W. County Line, a second deputy used stop sticks across the road to stop the fleeing suspect. Blaik's car eventually came to a stop at N.W. 234th Street and W. County Line Road.

No injuries were reported from the incident.
