OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City Police were called to an overnight shooting at a night club on the southeast side of the city.

Police were called out to the Sooner Corral, 10300 Sooner Road, just before 1:30 a.m. for an overcrowding issue.

One of the officers who responded to the scene was notified of a possible burglary in the parking lot. When the officer went to investigate, a vehicle pulled out of the parking lot and someone from inside the vehicle opened fire. The officer returned fire.

No one was hit in the gunfire exchange. There were four people in the car – one female and three males.

The vehicle was stopped a few miles later on I-240 between Sunnylane and Bryant.

Police arrested Joel Aranda, David Franco and Jesus Santillana in connection to the incident and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail. The female in the car was interviewed and released.

Police said there were two other victims in the parking that had been injured by the suspects during the car burglary.

The police officer has been placed on restrictive duty during an investigation of the shooting.
