Mayor Mick Cornett Trying to Bring Grand Prix to OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY – OKBlitz.com's Dean Blevins has learned that mayor Mick Cornett is pursuing a Grand Prix race in downtown Oklahoma City.

Cornett told Blevins that he has been planning this for five years and has had an engineering group come to the city to lay out a downtown track.

"I believe it will eventually happen," Cornett said. "I just don't know when."
