OKLAHOMA CITY -- Tonight will be on the cool side with lots of starlight, but rain and thunderstorms may be headed for the state late this weekend.
Friday in the Big Town will have increasing clouds and increasing southerly winds. Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with very strong winds of 15 to 30 MPH with higher gusts.
The most likely time for rain and thunderstorms will be Sunday and Monday with an outside chance of a severe storm.
Temperatures will be a bit above normal from now through the weekend. However, the heavy cloud cover and heavy winds will make it feel and look cooler.
The upper atmosphere storm track looks quite active for at least the next two weeks and probably longer.
