4 Injured in Crash Near UCO

EDMOND, Oklahoma – A serious car accident in Edmond shut down 2nd Street near the University of Central Oklahoma Monday night.

Four people were injured in the two car crash and taken to OU Medical Center. One person was in serious condition, the other three people are stable.

Edmond police officials said the driver of one of the vehicles, Jamie Carpenter, will be charged with a DUI after she caused the wreck. Police will issue a warrant for her arrest in the next few days.

The other victims' names have not been released.

Students with evening classes had to enter the campus from the north side.
