Woman Runs Stop Sign, Crashes into Police Officer's Vehicle

OKLAHOMA CITY -- An Oklahoma City police officer is injured after a woman ran a stop sign and collided with the officer's car.

Police said the woman was driving west on 164th Street when she ran the stop sign and collided with the unmarked police vehicle at the intersection of Southwest 164 Street and Western Avenue around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The officer was taken to Southwest Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. The driver was not injured and will most likely be cited for causing the wreck.
