Driver Injured in Train Crash in SE Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City driver was injured Sunday after he tried to beat a train at a crossing at SE 36th Street and Shields Boulevard.

Officials say the cross arms were down, but the driver tried to cross the tracks anyway.

The train clipped the car. The driver was taken to an Oklahoma City hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver's name has not been released.
