Winter Storm Blankets Oklahoma with Snow

OKLAHOMA CITY – Snow fell across central and eastern Oklahoma Monday as the latest round of winter weather covered the state.

A winter storm watch was in effect through Monday night.

Temperatures fell into the upper 20s. Snow continued to fall into Monday night. Winds gusted 20-30 mph on Monday, causing blowing snow in parts of the state.

Snow totals ranged from about two to four inches in Oklahoma City. Heavy snow fall between two and six inches was expected for north central and northeastern Oklahoma.

Drivers should expect wet conditions in the metro through late Monday evening.
