OKLAHOMA CITY -- A Norman family is taking matters into their own hands to get their son home from Haiti.
Randy Presley and his adopted daughter Eliana left for Haiti Friday afternoon. They're hoping to bring 4-year-old Christopher home from his Haitian orphanage.
The Presleys are supposed to arrive in Santo Domingo Saturday. However, the travel arrangements they had planned on to get to Haiti from Santo Domingo as well as their accommodations have fallen through.
Kathy Presley said her husband and daughter left with a carry-on of clothing and checked-in suitcases with food and water. They are hoping for the best, but Kathy said she is worried about their safety.
She said she plans on calling Senator Jim Inhofe and Representative Mary Fallin first thing Monday.
