EDMOND, Oklahoma – Edmond Police have released new details that led to the arrests of three teenagers in the connection to the murder of popular homeless man Bicycle Bob.

Connor Mason, Heather Parker and Nikolas Kerr, all 19, were arrested over the weekend.

Mason was arrested on a complaint of first-degree murder. Parker was charged with obstruction of an officer and accessory to a felony. Kerr was arrested on a complaint of accessory after the fact.

Travis Monroe Jim admitted to the murder and was arrested and charged in October, but now police say they do not think he is responsible for the crime.

Police spokeswoman Glynda Chu said a person came to the police station at the first of November and said he knew who killed Dwite Morgan, known as a Bicycle Bob.

The person told police that Connor Mason had told him he was the killer. He had hit Bicycle Bob in the head with a hammer and then cut his throat with a pocket knife to keep him from yelling out, according to a police affidavit. At one point Morgan raised up and asked Mason why he was doing it.

"So as a result of all this information we have, Conner Mason is the person who killed on October 18. He's charged with murder one," Chu said.

The person also claimed that Mason had shown him the victim's finger. One witness said it was in a clear plastic glove coverered with what appeared to be blood. Another witness said the finger was very dirty and had dirt under the fingernail. Mason gave the finger to his friend Heather Parker.

Chu said police had not previously released the detail that one of Morgan's fingers had been cut off.

According to the affidavit, Kerr is facing charges because he returned to the scene of the crime with Mason and was shown the deceased's body and did not call police.

Parker is facing charges because she is accused of destroying the finger and not reporting the crime to police, according to the affidavit.

As for Travis Jim, the homeless man charged with murder, police do not believe he had anything to do with crime or has any connection to the teens. They say it's not unusual for somone to admit to a crime even if they had no involvement.

Now it's up to the Oklahoma District Attorney to decide what to do about the charge against Travis Jim. The DA said he is currently looking over the case.
