Woman Reports Children Were Kidnapped, Leaves Before Police Arrive

Police are looking for a woman who asked a store clerk to call 911 because her children were kidnapped.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Police are looking for a woman who asked a store clerk to call 911 because her children were kidnapped.

Police were called to EZ Mart, 3700 N. Portland Ave., early Wednesday morning.

A woman calling herself Stacey, asked the clerk to call 911 for her. She told the 911 dispatcher that a friend of hers had taken her 8 and 10-year-old children.

Before police arrive, the woman left the sort.

Police are asking for the public help in identifying the woman. Police are still trying to determine if children we involved.

Anyone with information on the case should call 911.
