OKLAHOMA CITY – The anticipation is building for Saturday's bedlam showdown between the Sooners and the Cowboys, but at one Oklahoma business the rivalry is a year-round affair.

Customers should be careful where they park outside the Bedlam Barbershop in south Oklahoma City, and even more careful where the step and sit inside.

One side is OSU, the other OU. Owner Janice Dyer and her husband had this idea three years ago.

"He's the OSU fan, and I'm the OU fan," Dyer said.

With a rivalry as intense as Bedlam, sometimes the atmosphere here can get pretty heated.

When he comes in for a haircut, Adrian Landsaw always sits on the OSU side.

"There's lots of joking and kidding going on in here," Landsaw said. "We give each other a hard time, back and forth, across the room. It's just fun to come in and get your haircut, you know."

On the other side of the shop, Sooner fan Don Hickey likes jawing with Cowboy fans.

"It's hard to get 'em talking, but this year they're talking," Hickey said. "That kinda hurts a little bit, cause they got a little more to say this year compared to usually other years

OU and OSU kickoff at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Norman. For complete game coverage, check out OKBlitz.com.
