Edmond City Council to Vote on Apartment Complex Near Coffee Creek

The Edmond city council will vote tonight whether or not to allow a new apartment complex to be built near the Coffee Creek neighborhood.

EDMOND, Oklahoma -- The Edmond city council will vote tonight whether or not to allow a new apartment complex to be built near the Coffee Creek neighborhood.

The location has been zoned for apartments since 1996 and would allow 550 new families to move in and have a home. Residents say that would strain their community.

The city council meets tonight at 5:30 p.m.
