TULSA, OK -- Felony suspect Zachary Labadie, 20, turned himself into the Tulsa Police Department Friday night. Shots were fired and two Jenks schools were placed under temporary lockdown as officers attempted to arrest the man earlier in the day on two felony warrants.

Labadie was in his vehicle at a car wash at 93rd and Sheridan when he was approached by two undercover officers at about 3:07 p.m.

"Labadie refused the officers' commands to exit the vehicle and drove toward one of the officers in an attempt to hit the officer with the vehicle," according to a release from the Tulsa Police Department.

"One of the officers fired multiple rounds at the suspect.  At this time, we are unable to confirm if Labadie is injured," the release states.

The suspect fled from the scene and crashed his car at 6700 S. 67 th E. Avenue, fleeing on foot. Officers say that a female passenger remained in the car and was taken to the detective division for questioning. She was uninjured.

Labadie is described as a white male about 5'10", 140 pounds with dark hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a gray T-shirt.

Jenks Southeast Elementary and Jenks East were on lockdown after the incident  as a precaution for student safety.
