Woman Recorded Offering Sexual Favors to Police Officer

A woman accused of stealing $15.25 in merchandise from an Oklahoma City grocery store now faces a complaint of bribing a police officer after she was recorded offering sexual favors.

OKLAHOMA CITY – A woman accused of stealing $15.25 in merchandise from an Oklahoma City grocery store now faces a complaint of bribing a police officer after she was recorded offering sexual favors.

Regina Marie Dotson, 38, was arrested Friday on complaints of larceny, public intoxication and bribing a police officer.

Police were called to Homeland, 1108 N.W. 18^th Street, after an employee reported seeing Dotson try to steal $15.25 in merchandise, according to a police report. The police officer arrested Dotson and placed her in the back of his patrol car.

While in the back of the car, Dotson began to offer sexual favors to the officer if he wouldn't take her to jail, according to the report.

The officer started secretly recording Dotson on his cell phone. After arriving at the jail and being told she would be charged with bribing an officer, Dotson said "You're going to have a fun time proving that one," according to the report.

Dotson has previous convictions on multiple drug charges, according to court records.
