OKLAHOMA CITY -- An Oklahoma City Public School teacher returned to the classroom months after he was let go by the district.
The school board voted to fire Joseph Quigley last May, citing poor performance. The Northwest Classen High School English teacher had been with the district since 1994.
Quigley said he was fired for his support of anti-discrimination policies for gay students. He challenged the school's decision and in August a judge agreed.
Quigley's first day was Monday. He's now a language arts teacher at U.S. Grant High School.
