A U.S. Navy ship built to honor the victims of September 11 has set sail from a New Orleans shipyard to the New York harbor.

AVONDALE, Louisiana -- A U.S. Navy ship built to honor the victims of September 11 has set sail from a New Orleans shipyard to the New York harbor.

The USS New York is partly made of melted down steel from the World Trade Center Towers. The ship will be commissioned on November 7.
