MIDWEST CITY -- Cleveland County escaped convict Timothy Michael DeClark was captured Sunday morning in a Midwest City motel.

A Cleveland County Sheriffs Deputy arrested DeClark and his girlfriend this morning at a Midwest City Motel 6. He was being processed earlier this week and escaped by blending in with a group of inmates who had just bonded out.

DeClark was being held for probation violations, receiving stolen property, forgery and possession of a firearm following a prior convention.

Lester said a criminal investigation into the escape is under way as well as an internal evaluation into how DeClark was able to walk out of the jail.
