Water Main Break Blocks Traffic in Edmond

EDMOND, Oklahoma -- A water main break near 15th Street and Santa Fe Avenue caused traffic in Edmond Wednesday.

The intersection near the Crest Food Market was flooded with brown water.

Water has been restored to resident in the area.

Edmond city officials said only one northbound lane is open at the intersection of 15th and Santa Fe. Crews are working to repare damages from the water main break on the roadway. All lanes should be reopened by Thursday.

The cause of the main break is under investigation.
