STILLWATER, Oklahoma - After leaving the game in the first half against Houston due to an injury, Oklahoma State running back Kendall Hunter is doubtful to play Saturday against Rice.
"His injury was not as significant as we thought, but the likelihood of him playing is not good," said OSU head coach Mike Gundy.
Hunter injured his right ankle, but the full extent of his injury is unknown.
Hunter was the team's leading rusher a season ago, and before his injury Saturday accounted for 29 yards and a touchdown.
The Cowboys kickoff against Rice is set for 6:00 p.m.
