Oklahoma City Woman Drowns After Jump From Bridge

OKLAHOMA CITY -- An Oklahoma City woman drowned Saturday aftering jumping from a bridge into Lake Tenkiller.

Lauren Schlegel, 21, and two friends jumped from the State Highway 82 bridge on Lake Tenkiller in Cherokee County at about 7 p.m. Saturday. Schlegel never resurfaced from the water.

Emergency crews located her body by live scan radar, according to a report by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
