Police Arrest Man Who Fled from School Bus Accident

WELLSTON, Oklahoma -- Authorities have arrested a man who fled from the scene of a school bus accident that injured three students.

Police said a white SUV hit a Wellston school bus six miles north of Wellston late Friday afternoon. The driver of the SUV was taken to a hospital. His condition is unknown.

A second man in the SUV was seen fleeing from the accident. His name has not been released.

Police originally reported they were searching for two men, but later determined only one man fled.

The three students suffered minor injuries. One student was transported to a hospital and released.

No word on why the man fled from the scene of the accident.
