Better Business Bureau Makes Effort to Speed Up Clunkers Rebates

OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Better Business Bureau has made efforts to speed up the Cash for Clunkers reimbursement process for car dealers.

Better Business Bureau chiefs from across the country, including Oklahoma, wrote a letter to the Secretary of Transportation to encourage the government to streamline the process and pay dealers before it is too late.

"It's entirely possible that some smaller dealers would have had to close up shop. We're hoping that somebody takes heed of this and gets the checks out to these businesses," Bob Manista, Oklahoma Better Business Bureau.
