NOBLE, Oklahoma -- A 12-year-old Cleveland County boy was attacked by several dogs while riding his bike near his home just east of Noble.

Twelve-year-old Ronnie Kessler said he was riding down a neighborhood street when he noticed a dog just ahead of him.

"There was one dog out here, and they all just came out of the thing and they just attacked. I jumped off my bike ,and I started getting on the left side when they all surrounded me. They pinned me down," Kessler said.

A neighbor realized something was wrong.

"I happened to look out my back door, and I just barely seen the top of Ronnie's head here at the end of my pickup, and he was screaming for me, and saying,'Oh!Oh!" said neighbor Louise Wade.

Another neighbor picked up a BB gun and fired at the dogs until they got off the boy.

Kessler suffered lacerations on his arms, legs, and back. Emergency room doctors had to put four staples in his left forearm.

Neighbors said the dogs belong to the Art Richardson, who lives in the neighborhood. They said this was not the first times the dogs have gotten out.

The Sheriff's office said Richardson was ordered by the Health Department to take the dogs to a local vet for observation. Right now, their fate is uncertain, but Kessler had an opinion.

"They deserve to die," he said.

Richardson could not be reached for comment.
