Police Search for Man Who Bailed from Car

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Authorities are searching for a man after he bailed from his car during a routine traffic stop.

The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office said a deputy tried to pull over the vehicle near SE 44th Street and S Bryant Avenue. Deputies said the driver bailed out and took off on foot. A female passenger remained in the vehicle.

Authorities found drug paraphernalia inside the car and identified the driver as James Montgomery, 35. Montgomery has an active warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

The female passenger was released.
