Pilot Suffers Minor Injuries in Plane Crash

OKLAHOMA CITY -- A pilot was hospitalized with minor injuries after making a crash landing near Sundance Airport Wednesday evening.

The fixed-wing single engine plane rolled on its top off Sara Road near NW 122nd Street.

It is unclear what caused the small plane crash.

The pilot, James Holdeman of Ponca City, was walking around when paramedics arrived. He was taken to an Oklahoma City hospital to get checked out as a precaution.
