20-Year-Old Dies After Falling From Pickup Outside Stillwater Bar

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK -- A 20-year-old man died from head injuries he received after falling from a pickup tailgate in a bar parking lot just outside Stillwater.

Ted Foster was riding on the tailgate of a Chevy pickup driven in the parking lot of Tumbleweeds Bar just before 10 p.m.  Foster fell off the tailgate when the truck went up a small incline, according to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The driver, 27-year-old Toby W. Ficher of Stillwater, was not injured.

Foster was first taken to a Stillwater hospital then taken by medical helicopter to OU Medical Center where he later died.
